“I have three children and I want to make sure that they lead a completely healthy and prosperous life,”
Says Shahnaz (28), a resident of Shikarpur District, Sindh province, Pakistan. “My husband works as a clerk at a local office, and supports me like a partner should.”
“We both decided soon after marriage that we would not have more than three children. He always supported me and I shared all my health concerns with him.
I make embroideries at home, to help generate income and contribute to our household. Our community also nominated us as the Bright Star couple.”
“My ask from the WWW campaign is that we should have a health facility nearby, with a gynecologist and provision of oxygen for emergency cases. I attend all our community group meetings and inform other mothers about important steps in maternal health care.”
